I am known in my family to be quite good of a cook and people always ask me for the recipe. But... when I start to explain how I prepared that dish, I'm always telling them: a pinch of this, a little bit of that, some of another ingredient. And frustration starts to show because I can never tell them "exactly" how much I use. It's just smell, instinct, taste and experience that guide me when I cook. So, what do you do?
