When you make plans to leave your worldly goods to your children, do you divide things up evenly--even if one child is extremely successful financially and the other is not? Does the decision rest on the reason the "is not" child is struggling financially because he or she has a do-good but low paying job or because he or she can't get their act together? This is something several of my friends are struggling with. I've covered "leaving a legacy" a little on my blog on parenting grown children but wonder how you feel about it.
