Some of you know where the first half of my screen name comes from: Fey--one who sees 'beyond the veil'.  This was not only the veil between life and death but the veil between the 'mnudane' world and the world of fairies/leprecauns etc.  What if some of those things we think of as mythical (especially those that show up in various guises in different cultures) were in fact inhabitants of other dimensions?  And sometimes the veil 'thins' or parts?

Rtech mentioned this as a possible explanation for something he experiences?  A friend of mine told me a Kahuna she knows suggested to her that when we first can't find something for a short bit of time (often enough to delay us from going some where or doing something and it often turns out it was for the best we were delayed/thrwarted) that either we or the object (he said he wasn't sure yet which or even if it was always one or the other, but might vary) had slipped dimensions...into one where we'd made different choices, setting different outcomes in motion.  That we or the object 'returns' when it will better serve our choices in this one. Clearly he was still trying to puzzle it out. Others have felt that 'ghosts' have hidden and returned items.  i see no reason why the explanation must always be the same.  i've heard at least one story of 'battlefield' haunt (actually makeshift hospital near the fighting) in which one of what could have been just 'residual haunt' revealed itself to be more by making eye contact with the two observers--but that was more a slip in time than 'space'----So, i'm wondering...what other things have some of us experienced that might be suggestive of moving between dimensions?  Please share ...
