This is the Jemez Ridge, at southern end of Rocky Mountains in northern NM, pretty much right on the Continental Divide.  Having the view of this mountain ridge out my eastern door was one of the things that decided me on THIS home when i came down to look for a place to retire.  The ridge acts almost as a stage for sun and moon rises and choruses of clouds. You would be right if you think i take a lot of shots of it. This is a favorite because of the cloud below the top edge of the ridge. We're at 7000 ft abouve sea level, so get this fairly frequently...but often it just looks like snow on side of ridge..this time i think i captured the phenomenon:Enshrouded Jemez Ridge
