Jordans 2017 goes global by opening the doors of their new No. 16 Songgao flagship store in Taipei. The brand new Jordan Taipei Store offers exclusive releases that includes the antiquated Air Jordan "Chinese New Year" Collection, along with other restocks of previous Air Jordan releases. You can also customize your own Jordan gear, get in a training session in the Flight Lab, not to mention another Air Jordan Retro Collection display. Jordan Brand continues to bring out the out popular original color schemes of the Air Jordan 1. Some of the upcoming releasing include the "Banned" Air Jordan 1 and the "Black Toe" Air Jordan 1 and now we can add the Royal Blue to the list. Through the years, we have seen the "Royal" Air Jordan 1 OG release a handful of times. Originally release in 1985 which started the Jordan line. In 2001, the brand retrod this model but wasn’t like the OG release and came more as a mid, but still very popular.
Air Jordans 2016 continues their player exclusive Air Jordan 1 series with an upcoming Serena Williams Air Jordan 1. The Air Jordan 1 OG Royal appears to be returning in remastered form to celebrate the Air Jordan 1 with another original release. For the tennis superstar, this Air Jordan 1 comes dressed in a Pink, Black and White color scheme. Built with leather, the shoe includes Serena Williams' logo on the tongue and heel. A clean White traditional midsole with a Pink rubber outsole completes the look. Last seen in 2013, the classic Air Jordan 1 will return in its OG high-cut that's dressed in the traditional Black and Varsity Royal color scheme. The shoe features a clean Black leather upper with Royal overlays on the toe, heel and Nike Swoosh logos. Staying true to its heritage, the release will also come with OG Nike Air branding on the tongue and outsole.
2017 is already shaping up to be a hallmark year in sneakers. New Air Jordan Shoes, always a key contributor to that end, is said to be bringing back the Air Jordan 1 "Royal" next year. The shoes will retain the Nike Air branding that lands on the tongue, insole and sole while the Wings lands by the collar. Black is then placed on the panels, around the collar, tongue and laces. The overlays will pop due to the use of Varsity Royal which also hits the Swoosh, toe and outsole. Finishing the look while adding contrast is a White midsole. The Air Jordan 1 was the start of something special between Nike and the great Michael Jordan. The Air Jordan 1 Royal originally released in 1985 but is still one of the most popular colorways to grace this iconic silhouette. Premium Black and Royal Blue leather makes up the entire upper while a bold White midsole adds a classy contrasting look. Black laces and the legendary Air Jordan logo add the final touches to the shoe. The Air Jordan 1 Royal is one of the most sought after sneakers of all time and has stood the test of time.
New Jordans 2016, The Royal 1s will be joining the Chicagos, Breds, and possibly the Black Toes, as OG Air Jordan 1s that will be getting the remastered treatment. The Royal 1s are expected to release some time during the Summer of 2017 and will do so with a new premium look and of course the beloved Nike Air branding on the tongue. In the midst of the hype behind the Banned Jordan 1s, another AJ1 legend will make its triumphant return. The highly coveted Air Jordan 1 "Royal" is set to make a comeback since hitting the shelves back in 2013. Hoping to follow suit of its black/red Air Jordan 1 brethren, Nike Air branding would make this future release worthwhile as Air Jordan enthusiasts anticipate its return. On the eve of the release of the Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred, it is now being confirmed by The Shoe Game that the Royals will indeed be returning next year.
