A while back I was either on a website or reading a magazine where I found a list of top power foods for diabetics. Other webpages may have different opinions and list other foods. I really don't recall the source of this list. I wrote the names of the foods on a piece of paper and had it attached to my refrigerator. 

Here are the foods:
