Actor Cesar Romero was born in 1907. He was involved in film, radio , and television for almost 60 years. Younger viewers know him for his role of The Joker on the television series Batman. Romero played a Latin lover in many of his films and he made a series of films as The Cisco Kid. His more important roles were in films such as The Thin Man and Captain from Castile. Romero never married and died in 1994.

Harvey Korman was born in 1927. He is best remembered for his role in The Carol Burnett Show starting in 1967, but he also played in films such as Blazing Saddles and High Anxiety. Korman won four Emmys for his work on the Carol Burnett Show. He died in 2008.

Canada adopted a new flag in 1965. The new flag consisted of a red maple leaf that replaced the former Union Flag. February 15 is now the National Flag of Canada Day.

The population of China reached 1.2 billion in 1995. It is the most populous nation in the world ranking ahead of India. Recent estimates have China at 1.36 billion people and India at 1.24 billion. The United States ranks third with 318 million people.

YouTube got its start in 2005. This video sharing website was begun by three former PayPal employees and then taken over by Google in 2006. Individuals upload much of the content, but media corporations are also using it for promotional purposes. More than a billion people access YouTube each month. 100 hours of content is uploaded to YouTube each minute and 80% of YouTube traffic comes from outside the United States.

Larry Moskal began his career as a Social Studies teacher in 1971. He graduated from the University of Buffalo with degrees in history and education. Larry taught Social Studies for the Ken-Ton School system, a suburban school system north of Buffalo, New York until 2005, and then taught and was the Dean of Students at San Miguel High School in Tucson. At Ken-Ton, he pioneered several online courses for high school students. In the 1980s, he spent three years teaching in Colombia, South America and spent four years at Lewiston-Porter High School. He currently is the PowerSchool Administrator for San Miguel accomplishing his work over the Internet.
