Michael Jordan was born in 1963. I consider him to be the best player in the history of basketball. He played at the University of North Carolina and then became a member of the Chicago Bulls. Jordan won six NBA championships, was the league MVP six times, and won two Olympic gold medals. He tried to play professional baseball and then became a part owner of the Charlotte Bobcats.
The Beatles released Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever in the United Kingdom in 1967. Both songs were later included in the album Magical Mystery Tour. Penny Lane (my favorite Beatle’s song) was the name of a street near John Lennon’s childhood home and Beatle’s fans are often found trying to find this road.

The Hall of Fame began in 1959 and honors great players, coaches, and those who have made major contributions to the sport.
In 1998, the U.S. Women’s Olympic Hockey team won the gold medal. The team went undefeated in the tournament and defeated Canada in the gold medal game. It was the first time women’s hockey was played at the Winter Olympics
