I have enjoyed a varied career that included teaching, working as an advocate for seniors in rural Kansas, and 30+ years in the federal government! I retired in January 2014 from the Administration on Aging within the Dept. of Health and Human Services, where I served as Director of the Office of Elder Rights. I have now started a new phase of my life, where I am following my passion for interior decorating and design. I have been trained and certified as an Interior Redecorator and started my own business, Restyle Your Space, which works to "create stylish spaces using what you have." I am enjoying traveling, exercising, launching my business, reading, and keeping up with family and friends. I also now have time to explore new interests, take classes and keep learning new things! Born and raised in the Midwest, I have lived in the Washington, DC area for over 30 years.
