I'm 66 years young, mother of three, grandmother of seven. I currently reside in Western Kentucky, until my mother passed. I graduated a Registered Medical Assistant, majored in phlebotomy in Tampa Florida prior to moving to Ky. I've worked for an insurance company, managed a video rental store, managed a health food store, then became co-owner of an antique mall with 60 booths and venders. I am now retired and have time to enjoy my artistic side. I love doing portraits of children and animals, I wood carve, fashion objects from gourds, crochet, and an teaching myself to knit. Now I find out that I have a genetic heart condition that requires open heart surgery. God has been holding my hand for years now or I would have died thirty years ago, or so my Doctors have told me and I believe it since I turned my life over to God March 18th, 1981. I have really been wanting to connect with boomers like me, who have questions about health issues, medicare;how to get the most help with rising medio costs, plus no salt diets, and how to cope with stress. Simply any help and or advice.
