I've been a singer for as long as I can remember. Also I have been a writer, a production assistant for numerous television shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York City. I have been lucky enough to travel the world singing and backing up other artists. I went through Central America, South America, the U.S. and the Caribbean with Latin artist, Jose Luis Rodriquez, I also backed up the rock group REO Speedwagon throughout the U.S. too. I had the honor of singing backup for Leonard Cohen on the David Letterman show and other late night shows in Canada. I have songs published and songs recorded. Later I was singing for numerous network and cable promos through a Promo production company that worked with ABC, NBC, CBS, E Entertainment, Playboy, WB and Fox. I started a group with my husband and we produced a Latin Jazz album called "Fly". It was nominated for a Latin Jazz Grammy in 2004. In 2005 an 2006 we were sponsored by the California Arts Council and played in some noteworthy jazz festivals (Playboy Jazz Festival, Vancouver International Jazz Festival). I was chosen to sing in a choir from the U.S. for Pope John Paul II on Christmas Day 1999, for the opening of the Holy Doors at Jubileo. I was also flown with my husband, trumpeter, Sal Cracchiolo, to perform for King Bhumibol of Thailand in 2008. Since then, I have recorded other's music and have been teaching Jazz History at two different colleges in the Orange County area, and giving jazz and pop vocal lessons. My husband is lead trumpet for the fantastic soul group, Tower of Power. I love animals and hope we can help our planet get healthy, eliminate more poverty and try to make peace and health a priority.
