I retired from practicing law on 12/6/12 after 41 years. I kept my judge jobs. I am a judge in the Municipal Courts of 11 municipalities in the Denver area, most of which are north of the city. I am a widower. My wife died 4/16/10 of pancreatic cancer, a nasty killer. I am adopted into a Navajo family which is centered in the Window Rock, AZ area. I am also adopted into a family at Laguna Pueblo, NM. I have Hopi friends. I have a wide-ranging extended family of adoptive relatives. With these fortunate circumstances has come initiation into the Gourd Dance, which is a men's ceremonial/societal dance which is often done/performed at the beginning of pow wows, but which can also be a "stand-alone" event. I enjoy going to pow wows and Gourd Dancing, especially when it is with my older son and/or adoptive relatives. My under-graduate major was journalism. I wrote sports a lot before switching to music. I was a pro music critic for 15 years from more or less '67-'82. I like pro and college football, college basketball and soccer. I like classic/traditional country music, country-rock and music from the '60s and '70s. I live in Lakewood, CO. I have two sons, born in '83 and '87. I have a dog named Chipper. I would love to have a new female significant other in my life, but it hasn't happened yet. I enjoy life, and I am glad to be living the life I have.
